With AzzeroCO2 (a leading company in the field of environmental sustainability) we have launched a process of integration of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) objectives into the company strategy, anticipating the market.
First of all, the positioning of Tabu in relation to the market on ESG issues was analysed:
The environmental impacts of Tabu’s new circular product, Biodiversity, were analysed and compared with those of a traditional wood veneer.
The awareness of the state of the art and the distance from the objectives is the first element to properly plan the next steps: an Organization Carbon Footprint has been created to know the impact of the activities on the production of GHG (Greenhouse Gases), in the year 2022. We have thus obtained a baseline from which to start planning actions to reduce CO2, and have a more concrete and measurable approach to sustainability. The study was carried out in accordance with UNI EN ISO 14064:2019.
